Position Information
The Staff Psychologist provides direct clinical psychological service to the UCR students and in support of the campus community. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide individual, couples, and group therapy to UCR students and prioritizes working with students from marginalized communities, including Black/African American, Latinx, Undocumented, Indigenous/First Nations, Asian American/Pacific Islander, Multi-racial, and other students of color. This position provides crisis intervention services; consults with students, staff, and faculty; may serve as a supervisor for our APA-accredited internship program; and serves on University committees representing the CAPS department. The Staff Psychologist may also serve as a liaison and provide outreach to various campus communities. A successful applicant will exemplify excellence in clinical skills and demonstrate commitment to diversity and inclusion with a deep commitment to supporting underrepresented groups in our community from a trauma-informed lens.Please be advised that applicants must submit a cover letter and a curriculum vitae/resume for full consideration. Candidates may also be required to conduct a presentation as part of the interview process. The salary range for the Staff Psychologist is $95,648.12 - $139,571.19 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $114,387.64 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time.
