This position will help advance the University's vision that prioritizes health and well-being as a foundation for lifelong success and purposefulness. The Senior Director of Clinical Services is instrumental in maintaining high quality, inclusive, evidence-based care that supports the success of a diverse, bright, and ambitious student body. This is a critically important position and requires a dynamic, motivational, and engaging leader who has strong clinical skills, experience as a supervisor to a multidisciplinary team, and is an astute operational administrator. The Senior Director must be able to shift seamlessly from supporting an individual student in crisis to representing EUSHS in addressing population health impacts and interventions on campus.

Reporting to the Executive Director, and a part of the Executive Leadership Team at EUSHS, the Senior Director supervises the Director of Nursing Services, Director of Psychiatry, and Clinical Providers to ensure high quality, integrated clinical services for students. The ideal candidate must have a working knowledge of collaborative and multidisciplinary outpatient medical care, preferably within a collegiate health center or a practice that serves a young adult population. EUSHS is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and is part of a portfolio of health and wellness unit that includes Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), the Office of Health Promotion, and the Office of Respect, reporting to the Division of Campus Life.

This distinctive opportunity at Emory University, a comprehensive research university with the mission "to create, preserve, teach, and apply knowledge in the service of humanity," will align with a leader committed to creating an overarching well-being culture as an essential element for academic and student success. With a focus on advancing opportunities to strengthen all aspects of the student experience regarding health, mental health, and wellbeing, the innovative and collaborative leader selected as Senior Director will provide insights and strategy to enhance existing programs and services while exploring future initiatives to meet the changing needs of students. The Senior Director will be an integral voice alongside colleagues across the portfolio of health and wellness services, Campus Life, and broader campus community, striving to understand and utilize the extensive resources available within Emory and Emory Healthcare and assess data to inform decisions that strengthen medical practices and inform preventative and integrative approaches. In order to succeed in advancing this vision, the Senior Director must have a deep passion for the work and an understanding of the challenges faced by a highly diverse population of students, including both undergraduate and graduate/professional students.
