Clinical Research Assistant


Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Two (2) years experience in a research environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with IRB process. Statistical analysis and analytical skills experience. Experience with MRI studies, research design or data analysis.

Brief Description of Duties:
Under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator, the incumbent will perform a variety of MRI research studies, which include obtaining IRB approval for retrospective and prospective studies, analyze data, prepare reports and assure compliance. May recruit participants. The successful incumbent should have the ability to work under pressure and have excellent communication skills.

Prepare and submit IRB protocols and amendments for new and continuing approvals. Assure continuing compliance with all federal guidelines. Maintain all study binders.

Consent and recruit patients for MRI studies.

Collect and analyze MRI and other clinical data

Assist new students/staff to ensure a smooth transition into the lab.

Other duties as assigned.
