Growing Children's ENT practice seeking Audiologist


OFFERING $10K SIGNING BONUS

Seeking a highly motivated Audiologist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services by assessing and treating neonate, infant, children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric hearing, balance, and communication disorders.

•Defines patient hearing impairment by selecting and administering relevant hearing tests; operating diagnostic equipment; determining type and degree of hearing impairment.
•Provides counseling about effects on hearing, comprehension and speech; interpreting audiometric diagnostic data; preparing written diagnostic reports and recommendations.
•Works collaboratively with referring physician and community resources to help facilitate further assessments or intervention.
•Maintains patient records by recording and updating evaluations, changes, progress, and treatments.
•Completes accurate and timely documentation related to diagnostic findings, including recommendations for further assessment.
•Demonstrates clinical and service excellence behaviors to include professional code of conduct fundamentals.
•Follows state and national recommended diagnostic protocols.
•Maintains confidentiality and privacy according to HIPAA regulations.
•Practices consistent hand hygiene, uses personal protective equipment, complies with required immunizations.
•Demonstrates effective infection control practices related to equipment operation.
•Improves quality results by studying and evaluating processes; implementing changes; evaluating new equipment, devices and techniques.
•Ensures diagnostic equipment is maintained in good working order and calibration is up to date at all times.
•Maintains appropriate supply inventory to avoid any interruption in service by checking stock; anticipating needs; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
•Maintains legal and accreditation compliance by adhering to federal, state, and local regulations, and professional standards.
•Maintains active and unrestricted State of Texas License in Audiology.
•Updates job knowledge by tracking trends in new techniques and approaches; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintain personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
•Accomplishes organization's goals and explores opportunities to add value.
